At jjwen, we believe gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment — never a source of stress, financial hardship or personal harm. This page explains the tools, resources and support available to every player on our platform.
Responsible gambling means staying in control of your gambling activity — understanding that it is a form of paid entertainment, not a way to make money or recover losses. A responsible approach to gambling involves setting clear limits on time and money spent, playing for fun rather than out of obligation or compulsion, and stopping when gambling stops feeling enjoyable.
jjwen is committed to providing every player — whether you're watching Pakistan cricket from Karachi or catching PSL games in Lahore — with the tools and information to stay in control. Our responsible gambling framework is not a regulatory afterthought. It is built into the platform from the ground up, because player well-being is a genuine priority for us.
Gambling problems affect people from all walks of life and across all income levels. They are not a sign of weakness — they are a recognised pattern of behaviour that can be identified and addressed with the right support. If you ever feel that your gambling is no longer in your control, we encourage you to act early and use the resources on this page.
Important Reminder: Gambling is subject to restrictions in Pakistan under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977, and other applicable laws. jjwen does not claim Pakistani government authorisation. You are responsible for understanding and complying with laws applicable to you in your location. This page is not legal advice.
Playing within a budget you have already decided on before you start
Treating losses as the cost of entertainment — not trying to win them back
Gambling with money left over after all bills, rent and essentials are covered
Stopping when you said you would, regardless of whether you are winning or losing
Taking regular breaks and balancing gambling with other activities and responsibilities
Being honest with yourself and others about the time and money you spend on gambling
Remember: The house always has a mathematical edge over time. Gambling outcomes are random. No strategy, system or "hot streak" changes the long-run probability of losing. Play for enjoyment — not to profit.
All of the following tools are available at no cost to every registered jjwen player. Access them directly through your Account Settings at any time — no need to contact support to activate them.
Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your jjwen account over a defined period — daily, weekly or monthly. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets.
Define the maximum net loss you are willing to sustain within a set period. When you reach your loss limit, your account will be prevented from placing further bets until the period expires.
Set a maximum duration for each individual gambling session. When your session timer expires, you will receive a notification and, depending on your settings, be required to take a break before continuing.
Take a short break from gambling without permanently closing your account. Select a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During this period, you cannot log in or place bets.
If you want a longer break or need to stop gambling entirely, self-exclusion allows you to permanently or temporarily close your account. Exclusion periods of 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or indefinite are available.
Enable periodic on-screen pop-ups that remind you how long you have been playing and how much you have spent or won in the current session. These can be set to appear every 30, 60 or 90 minutes.
Reducing Limits Takes Effect Immediately: When you reduce a deposit limit, loss limit or session time limit, the reduction takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit is subject to a cooling-off period as determined by the Operator, to prevent impulsive increases during a session.
jjwen is an adults-only platform. Access is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 years or older — or the higher minimum age required by the Operator's license jurisdiction, whichever applies. We treat this requirement with the utmost seriousness.
Age verification is a mandatory part of the jjwen registration and KYC process. Pakistani players will be asked to provide a valid government-issued identity document — such as a CNIC — to confirm their age and identity before a full account is activated and before any withdrawal can be processed.
If we have any reason to believe that an Account is being used by or on behalf of a person under the applicable minimum age, we will suspend that Account immediately, conduct a verification review, and take any necessary action — including permanent closure and forfeiture of funds — to protect minors from harm.
Age Alone Does Not Make Gambling Lawful in Pakistan: Being 18+ satisfies jjwen's age requirement, but it does not override applicable Pakistani law. Pakistan has gambling restrictions that may prohibit online gambling regardless of a player's age. You are responsible for understanding the laws that apply to you.
If you share a device, mobile phone or computer with younger family members — which is common in many Pakistani households — jjwen strongly recommends the following precautions:
Do not save your jjwen username and password in your browser or on a shared device. Always log out completely after each session.
Enable the parental control and screen time features available on your smartphone or computer. Most Android, iOS and Windows devices offer these natively in settings.
Content filtering applications can restrict access to gambling websites on shared devices. These are available for major platforms and can be configured to block specific URLs.
Talk honestly with younger family members about the risks of gambling. Open conversations are one of the most effective ways to prevent underage gambling behaviour.
If you believe a minor has accessed jjwen, report it immediately to [email protected]. We will investigate and take appropriate action without delay.
Problem gambling can develop gradually. Being aware of the warning signs — in yourself or someone you know — is the first step towards getting help. The following behaviours may indicate that gambling has moved beyond healthy entertainment:
Spending more time or money on gambling than you originally intended, and repeatedly failing to stick to limits you set for yourself
Chasing losses — continuing to gamble to try to win back money you have already lost, even when you can't afford to
Gambling with money you need for essential expenses — bills, rent, groceries, school fees or other obligations
Feeling irritable, anxious or restless when not gambling, or when trying to reduce or stop your gambling activity
Borrowing money, selling possessions or taking on debt to fund gambling activity
Lying to family members or friends about how much time or money you spend on gambling
Neglecting work, studies, family responsibilities or social relationships because of time spent gambling
Gambling as a way of escaping stress, anxiety, depression or difficult personal circumstances
Feeling unable to stop gambling even when you want to, or when you know it is causing you harm
Ask yourself the following questions honestly. If you answer "Yes" to two or more, we strongly encourage you to use jjwen's responsible gambling tools or seek external support.
Have you ever bet more than you could afford to lose?
Have you ever needed to gamble with larger amounts to get the same level of excitement?
Have you ever gone back another day to try to win back money you lost?
Have you ever borrowed money or sold anything to finance gambling?
Have you ever felt that you might have a problem with gambling?
Have people ever criticised your gambling or told you that you have a gambling problem?
Have you ever felt guilty about the way you gamble or what happens when you gamble?
Has gambling ever caused you any health problems, including stress and anxiety?
Act Early: The earlier you recognise and address problem gambling behaviour, the easier it is to regain control. Don't wait until the situation becomes severe. Contact our support team or use the self-exclusion tool now.
These are the specific commitments jjwen makes to every player on the platform.
jjwen does not direct promotional offers, re-engagement campaigns or bonus incentives at players who have active responsible gambling restrictions, have recently self-excluded or have shown indicators of problem gambling behaviour.
Our systems monitor account behaviour for patterns associated with problem gambling — such as erratic betting behaviour, rapidly escalating stakes, or repeated failed attempts to withdraw. We may reach out proactively where patterns of concern are identified.
When a player requests self-exclusion, jjwen actions it promptly — not after a delay or upsell attempt. Self-exclusion is never made difficult. You will not be shown promotional material during the exclusion period.
jjwen's customer support team receives training in recognising and responding to responsible gambling concerns. If you raise a concern, you will be directed to appropriate resources and tools — not simply processed as a standard query.
jjwen does not use misleading promotional language that downplays risk, exaggerates potential winnings, or obscures the conditions attached to bonuses. Responsible gambling messages are included in our promotional communications.
If a player has permanently self-excluded, jjwen will not re-accept them as a player or allow a new account to be opened for the same individual. Permanent exclusion means permanent — it is not a trial period.
Self-exclusion is one of the most important tools available to players who feel they need a break or want to stop gambling entirely. Here is how to set it up on jjwen:
Access your jjwen account from any device — mobile or desktop. The process takes only a few minutes to complete.
Navigate to your Account Settings — usually found via your profile icon in the top-right corner of the platform.
Inside Account Settings, locate the "Responsible Gambling" section. This is where all player protection tools are consolidated.
Select "Self-Exclusion" and choose the duration that suits your needs: 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or indefinitely. Confirm your selection.
Self-exclusion takes effect immediately upon confirmation. You will receive an email acknowledgement. Your account will be inaccessible for the duration of the exclusion period.
Can't Log In? If you are unable to log in to your account but need to self-exclude urgently, email [email protected] with the subject line "Urgent Self-Exclusion Request" and your registered email address. We will process this as a priority.
